According to SPA, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the campaign in cooperation with the National Malaria Control Program at Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Yemeni Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaibeh stated that the mosquito nets will be distributed over the coming days to 626 IDP camps across various governorates. He noted that the support provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief contributes to protecting lives and limiting the spread of epidemics.
The project is part of humanitarian efforts by KSrelief to improve preventive healthcare services and curb the spread of diseases among displaced persons and vulnerable groups in Yemen.
