According to SPA, the ministry is updating technical and health requirements for food establishments and developing health certificates for workers, including improving the electronic issuance process and training sector personnel.

Municipalities are conducting field visits to food outlets, kitchens, and restaurants to verify compliance. As part of a smart inspection system, the ministry has adopted body-worn cameras.

The public is urged to report violations and observations at food establishments via the Balady platform or the unified number 940.
