Two Holy Mosques Authority advises early Omra planning

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has called on pilgrims to plan their Omra rites in advance and identify peak hours at the Grand Mosque to ensure ease of movement and traffic fluidity.

According to SPA, the Authority released an awareness guide detailing attendance patterns. Low attendance is recorded from 22:00 to 4:00 and from 9:00 to 16:00. Moderate attendance occurs between 5:00 and 8:00, while high attendance is noted from 17:00 to 21:00.

The Authority stated that these measures help worshippers organize their time and utilize less crowded slots to improve comfort and safety. Prior organization and the selection of appropriate times are intended to optimize the movement of pilgrims within the sacred precinct.

Visitors are encouraged to follow orientation indicators and use digital services to check attendance levels. A digital service is available on the Authority’s website for this purpose, alongside other digital solutions such as the Nusuk application.
