Saudi Arabia secured the top position in the results of the third International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO 2026), which the Kingdom hosted for the first time in the Middle East.
According to SPA, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Anqari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), congratulated King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the achievement.
The Saudi students earned a first-place gold medal and the title of Nuclear Science Ambassador, along with two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal. Al-Anqari stated that the success reflects the leadership’s focus on investing in national talents to create a knowledge-based economy and enhance global competitiveness as part of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Anqari also thanked Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah Global Humanitarian Action Center, for supporting Mawhiba’s mission to identify and empower gifted individuals.
