The road serves as a link between two prominent tourist governorates in Jazan. Al-Ardah combines rural and mountainous nature with farms and valleys, while Fayfa is characterized by mountains, agricultural terraces, and villages located on slopes and peaks.
Rainfall in the Jazan region during August increases the appeal of the road by renewing the vegetation and greening the slopes. This occurs alongside moderate weather in the highlands during the summer vacation, attracting visitors and photographers.
