SCBC provides 2.9 million services to business sector

More than 2.9 million services were provided to economic establishments by the Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center (SCBC) during the first half of 2026 to facilitate business start-up and operational procedures.

According to SPA, the center established 46,890 companies, registered 86,786 establishments, and verified 3,490 e-commerce stores. The SCBC expanded its presence to 21 branches across 16 cities in the Kingdom during this period.

The center acts as a single point of contact to streamline access to government services in coordination with relevant authorities. It provides data on doing business, receives inquiries, and identifies challenges facing the business sector.

Saudi Arabia ranked 13th globally and third among G20 countries in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026, published in June by the World Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
