Riyadh was the location of a telephone call between Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed ElKhereiji and the British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Stephen Doughty, on August 13, 2026.
According to SPA, ElKhereiji began the conversation by congratulating the British Minister of State on his appointment and wishing him success in his new role.
The two officials used the call to examine bilateral relations and discuss various subjects of common interest.
